As a Massage Therapist at Empassion Pelvic Health, you will play a crucial role in supporting our patients' overall health and well-being. You will work closely with our physical and occupational therapists to provide specialized massage therapy that complements their treatment plans. Your ability to connect with patients, combined with your expertise, will help create a calming and healing experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing therapeutic massage services tailored to each patient’s individual needs, with a focus on pelvic health.

• Collaborating with physical/occupational therapists to ensure that massage therapy aligns with overall treatment plans.

• Creating a relaxing and nurturing environment that promotes healing and comfort.

• Educating patients on the benefits of massage therapy as part of their holistic care plan.

• Maintaining a clean and organized therapy room, ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and in good working order.

• Keeping records of each session, including patient progress and any observations that may assist the broader care team.

• Continuously learning and staying updated on the latest techniques and best practices in massage therapy, especially related to pelvic health.

• Building strong relationships with patients, making them feel welcome, supported, and at ease.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who has:

• A valid massage therapy license in Tennessee.

• Experience: All welcome. New grads willing to learn or those experienced in the field that are willing to mold their experience to the needs of the clinic. Heavier focus on therapeutic massage and speciality areas including: pregnancy/postpartum, lymphatic and relaxation massage, chronic pain.

• A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

• A passion for helping others and a desire to be part of a team that truly values its members.

• An openness to learning and growing within the field of pelvic health and the needs of the clinic.

Work Hours

• Flexible scheduling 

• At least 2 Saturdays a month
