Emily Lee

As Patient Relations and Office Support Specialist, Emily is usually the first person to greet patients when they walk through the door at Empassion. Born and raised in Tennessee, she spent six years working in finance before joining the team.

Away from the front desk, Emily gives her time whenever her schedule allows, from pitching in with relief efforts after Hurricane Helene to volunteering with Caris Healthcare. She's an Enneagram 6 through and through: loyal, dependable, and exactly who you want nearby when things get hard.

Emily adores her three dogs: twins Teddy and Rowdy, and little Ozzy. She's also a big fan of The Golden Girls, so it's no surprise that Betty White, one of the great animal advocates, is a favorite. She loves a bonfire and a quiet night playing guitar, even though she only knows about four songs. A TikTok she made once went viral, and she still earns royalties from it. She and her husband, Kyle, love the beach, and the Bahamas tops their list. They also love ghost hunting. Their spookiest stop was Gatlinburg's Greenbrier restaurant, said to be haunted by a bride left at the altar. Emily actually spotted a bride there and panicked, until they realized it was someone's wedding.
