Jami Schreuder

Jami spent 23 years in corporate America before deciding she wanted her next chapter to mean more. As Office Manager, she now oversees Empassion's day-to-day operations, putting decades of organizational and leadership experience to work for a practice she believes in. Her own experiences with women's health are part of what drew her here.

Jami moved to Johnson City from Georgia as a teenager and has called East Tennessee home ever since. She attended East Tennessee State University and holds two certifications that sum her up surprisingly well: Certified Scrum Master and Certified Reiki Practitioner. One is about getting things done; the other is about taking care of people. Her Enneagram type, 8 with a social subtype, fits: she's a natural leader with a strong pull toward community.

Jami and her husband, Adam, have a son, Max, and two very spoiled, very wild Boston Terriers, Chubbs and Moose. She calls herself outdoorsy, as long as outdoors means the pool, the lake, or dinner alfresco. She's also in a book club and loves a good true-crime documentary.
