Jenna DeBerardino, PT, DPT

Jenna grew up in Mooresville, North Carolina, just outside Charlotte. She studied at Appalachian State University before earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy at East Tennessee State University. She knew early on that pelvic health was where she belonged, fascinated by how the female body adapts through pregnancy and childbirth.

Curious and always up for a challenge, Jenna has also developed an interest in vestibular therapy, the branch of PT that treats dizziness, vertigo, and balance problems. A personal experience sparked it, and she welcomes those patients too, even though they're a little different from her regular pelvic health caseload.

Few people would guess that Jenna played drums for 12 years and ranked first in North Carolina in middle school. These days, she and her husband, Hunter, are taking on golf, which she calls the most fun and most frustrating sport there is. Her goal right now: breaking 100. Giving comes naturally to Jenna, an Enneagram 2, and it shows most in her kitchen. She's the unofficial birthday-cake baker for her friends and family, and her most ambitious project yet is a cheesecake.
