Lauren Wirick, PTA

Originally from Florida, Lauren now calls Jonesborough home. She earned her physical therapist assistant degree at Walters State Community College and works with men and women in both pelvic health and orthopedics.

Lauren came to pelvic health through her own experience, and through hearing how many people quietly live with symptoms they think are just part of life. She knows how often people with chronic pain are told to accept a "new normal," and she's living proof they don't have to settle for it. That's why she cares so much about closing the education gap: helping patients understand what's happening in their bodies.

Lauren is the team's resident cheerleader, whether she's encouraging a patient or rallying a teammate. She's also a familiar face at Empassion's community events, which she genuinely enjoys.

A former aerial dancer, she still loves sunshine, water sports, and an impromptu dance party. She's married to Kyle, mom to two daughters, and shares her home with two tiny pups, Cashew and Pistachio. She's rarely without an iced coffee, a stash of snacks, and a half-finished crochet project.
