Whitney Gambrell, PT, DPT

Whitney earned both her undergraduate and doctoral degrees in Exercise Science and Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University. Early in her career, she was drawn to pediatric care through her work in school settings and pediatric clinics, where she developed a love for helping children thrive through every stage of development.

After graduating, she stepped into a role that blended pediatric and pelvic health and quickly fell in love with the specialty. That experience opened her eyes to the powerful impact pelvic health therapy can have—both physically and emotionally—for people of all ages.

Whitney brings a calm, grounded presence to every session and is known for her ability to make patients feel safe, seen, and understood. She also loves teaching—both in session and behind the scenes—and helps lead several of the clinic’s educational initiatives.

Outside the clinic, Whitney is a pro shopper with an eye for style and a love of a good deal. She’s also a devoted reader who can often be found winding down with a book in hand. She never considered herself much of a basketball fan—until meeting her husband, Garrison, who quickly converted her into a loyal supporter of Science Hill and UNC-Chapel Hill basketball.
